Print options

File → Print in the main window uses the file-list selection. To print every image, use Select All before opening Print. To print just the displayed image, right-click the image and choose Print image…. This is also available in fullscreen and standalone image windows. In split view, it prints the image in the pane that was right-clicked, regardless of other selected files or image panes.

Choose One image per page or Proof sheet. Image size sets the percentage of the available image area for a single image. Proof width and Height set the proof cell dimensions in points (72 points equal one inch). Proof sheets fit as many cells as possible inside the paper margins and continue on additional pages as needed. Oversized cells are reduced to the printable area.

GTK's standard controls provide paper size, orientation, margins, preview, printer selection, and printing to a PDF file. Layout settings are remembered for future print jobs.

Image Text

This text will be attached to each image printed. It may contain any combination of plain text and predefined tags.

Page Text

This text is printed once per page, including on proof sheets. It may contain only plain text.

On proof sheets it appears above or below the grid.

Header 1/2 Footer 1/2

These checkboxes define the layout for Image Text and Page Text. Image text may be printed above or below each image, and page text above or below the page content. When both apply to a single image, their order is defined by these checkboxes.
